黃漢邦在時裝界工作多年，曾與香港著名舞台服裝設計師Thomas Chan(陳裕光)合作。 及後，他遠赴到英國修讀時裝設計，2000年畢業於英國倫敦時裝設計學院Central St. Martin’s College of Art & Design，主修女裝設計。在學期間，曾於國際著名設計師如ShellyFox、Robert Cary-Williams處實習。畢業後，他留在倫敦發展，與Dainella Helayel 創立時裝品牌 ISSA Couture。回港後，亦曾為多個本地時裝品牌設計時裝。2008年在香港理工大學紡織與服裝系修畢全球化服裝管理碩士學位，更以一等成績畢業。同年出任ISSA Couture 時裝顧問。為推動香港及中國時裝業的新浪潮，曾於多間大學及時裝設計學院任教。
